Social Impact, Women Empowerment & Charitable Works
When you educate a woman, you educate a nation. CWON is committed to the total liberation of Catholic women in Nigeria.
CWON operates Women Empowerment Centres in major cities offering training in fashion design, catering, hairdressing, ICT, and entrepreneurship — each lasting 3–6 months with certification.
The CWON Cooperative Society provides low-interest loans, savings facilities, and business startup grants to members — helping Catholic women build financial independence and security for their families.
Annual scholarships to outstanding Catholic women students in tertiary institutions nationwide. Applications open every January. Over 5,000 scholarships awarded since inception.
Annual leadership workshops, public speaking training, and mentorship programmes prepare CWON women for leadership roles in the Church, in business, and in public life.
